Behind the name Jolla is me, Andrea Raemy. I was born in Fribourg, Switzerland in 1980 and grew up at the country side with my parents, two brothers, cows, an Atari and three TV channels. During my 20ies I studied multimedia design and I am today creating and designing as a passion and not as a profession. Style, pleasure, boardshredding, sound, fashion, art, colors and mother nature, just to name but a few of my sources of inspiration. The word Jolla is a derivation from the Spanish word joya ['xoja] for jewel - It stands for uniqueness and aesthetics. The internet platform jolla.ch exists for years already. Only mid 2011 when I started to make screen printings, some concrete creative activity was brought to life. This web site is in constant work... just drop by again later.
